A lifelong public servant, I proudly wore our nation’s uniform for over thirty years, retiring as an Army Colonel. For the past eleven years, I have been equally proud to serve our “Best Little Beach City” by coaching hundreds of our kids, volunteering with our School District and dozens of local organizations, and, for the past five and a half years, serving as your City Councilmember and Mayor, in elected regional leadership roles, and as your state-appointed California Coastal Commissioner.

Serving Hermosa Beach has been the honor of a lifetime. Together, we’ve accomplished so much, but our most important work still lies ahead.

Our city is at a pivotal moment, and the need for competent, experienced leadership has never been greater. The decisions we make today will shape Hermosa Beach for generations to come. That’s why I remain committed to providing thoughtful, experienced leadership grounded in fiscal responsibility, public safety, smart and measured growth, and protecting the character, quality of life, and values that make our community so special.

I have worked tirelessly to represent Hermosa Beach at every level, building partnerships, advocating for our residents, and delivering results. But there is more to accomplish. We must restore our city’s long term fiscal health, invest wisely in the services residents rely on, and continue protecting the unique character that makes Hermosa Beach such a special place to live.

I would be honored to earn your vote once again and continue serving with integrity, experience, common sense, and action.

Thank you for your trust, your support, and the privilege of serving the community we all love. Together, let’s keep Hermosa Beach moving onward and upward.
